Yeah, that’s a good attitude, I may have to adopt that same approach (although living in Australia makes it hard, because we’re kind of out of the way for everyone in the entire world).

Yeah, I try to make a point of meeting any author now if the chance presents it. You never know if you will get the chance again.

Most of the Last Chance to see stuff is on the BBC site. Looks like Douglass only did radio bits. Still and excellent book, I love it.

Wow, that is amazing you met Douglas Adams, I am quite jealous. And I understand exactly how you feel, I realised a couple of years ago, upon completing The Salmon of Doubt, that I had probably read the last of Douglas Adams’ work that I was going to be able to read, and was quite immensely saddened by it. I still want to track down the original series of Last Chance To See that he was in though; that is perhaps the last thing left for me to see of his.

What a cool opportunity this must have been. I’ve been reading some of Pavel’s stuff, and he seems pretty intense. I can only imagine what he would be like in person.
