Buddies missed by the Bellevue Crane Collapse

Some of my friends from the MSN Portal team were at the site of the Crane collapse in Bellevue. Apparently it was an Underwear Integrity Event. Meals were comped. Don’t know if they were given clean shorts as well.

I was at the SeaStar restaurant when this collapse happened.  It was surreal.  We were celebrating a work project completion and I felt 3 distinct ground shaking bumps followed by a second or two of rumbling.  I thought we were having an earthquake.  But my co-worker was watching out the window and saw the crane fall and exclaimed, "Oh my".
